WHO
WE ARE
The Space Potential Action Network is a grassroots community of youth activists who take action together to promote a sustainable future for human life in outer space.
Get to Know Us
We're a network of high school students around the country and around the world who are passionate about bringing about the future of our collective human potential in outer space. We do this through outreach, education and advocacy. We encourage our peers to learn about STEMS (STEM + Space) and to use our voices to advance space education, space research, and a peaceful, sustainable future on Earth and in space.

Max Nguyen
SPAN Founder & President
Max is a high school student from San Jose, California who founded SPAN after discovering the multitude of possibilities relating to our future in space -- ranging from scientific research and exploration, to human space travel and colonization, to mining of natural resources. There are also many challenges -- including funding of STEM + Space education, funding of space research and exploration, and issues relating to peace and sustainability. Space weapons, space mining, space debris, and space territorial disputes are areas of concern. Our generation needs to be involved as stakeholders so the future of human life on Earth and in space will be peaceful and sustainable. Through education and advocacy, our voices can make a difference!
